Analytical method transfer expert

We are seeking a self-motivated, agile,  analytical method transfer expert to join our Analytical Method Transfer Platform (AMTP). The primary responsibility of AMTP is to facilitate the transfer of validated methods from R&D to QC and to/from external partners as well as performance improvement/fault analysis at QC laboratories. Methods mostly include ELISA, microbiological and virological titration methods, physicochemical tests, cellular assays and PCR. Our method palette is continuously expanding, other methods may be added to the list in the future. 

The successful candidate will:

coordinate and manage transfer projects
prepare transfer plans and reports in English,
work closely with Phylaxia R&D and QC scientists and operators in the lab, and with foreign colleagues via regular video conferences
keep track of the method transfer process and act as facilitator if necessary to meet all the quality requirements and deadlines
analyse raw data with simple statistical methods
conduct troubleshooting, propose corrective and preventive actions if necessary
occasionally perform laboratory tests and/or supervise a lab technician
regularly use planning/follow up IT tools (e.g. Smartsheet) in addition to the usual office softwares
manage reagent shipments, prepare material transfer agreement (MTA) with company lawyer, arrange import permits etc.

Requirements:

Bioengineer, biologist, chemist with bio experience, veterinarian or relevant diploma
Project management skills, agile attitude and ability to successfully motivate colleagues at partner departments
Excellent communication skills and ability to build and maintain good interpersonal relationship with multicultural partners
Detail oriented attitude, excellent problem solving and troubleshooting capabilities
Good organization and coordination skills
Clear report writing and proofreading skills in English
Ability to work independently as well as in a team
Project management, quality management experience in relevant area is a big plus
Hands-on lab experience in bioanalytical or biotechnological field is a must
Experience in GLP/GMP environment is a big advantage
Excellent knowledge in data processing with MS Excel, writing memos and reports with MS Word, preparing presentations with MS Power Point, communicating by e-mail
Deep knowledge in statistics is not required but considered as a plus
Min. 3 years hands-on experience in bioanalytical, virological or biotechnological lab
Fluent verbal and written English is a must
